There are no flowers in my yard and I loathe to start a garden because the snow will be coming soon. I think I will plant bulbs so I can forget about them and be surprised in the Spring. I like goofy surprises like that ...

My give a dAmn's busted ...
I'm glad you like it. I wouldn't hold my
breath for a shot of it once bloomed, as
they tend to bloom overnight sometimes
and the flower only lasts for a day,
maybe 2.
It's too early to plant bulbs. I think
it's more like right before the first
frost. Bulbs are nice, and you can layer
them. Some bloom well before others, like
crocus, so you plant daffodils and tulips
in the same hole, just deeper.

I will be picking your brain this fall about the bulbs. I don't have a clue what to do with them. I don't have a knack for plants. I did buy two palms at Home Depot a few days ago. They are about 4 ft tall. They looked great and then they started to droop, i didn't know what the problem was until i saw the little teeth marks! Damn cats are eating my plants! No wonder I haven't had one in years!
I will note you with photos of the rooms that are finished (there's only two) ...
